Daniel Armistead, Worship Assistant
I lead worship each week at our Goose Creek campus. I like playing and watching basketball, and I have a pretty wide range of humor. I like the whole book of James, because each chapter has a purpose and a lesson for our lives today, like going through trials and how to treat others. But one verse that I always look back on in James 4:17: “If one knows what is right, and fails to do it, for him it is sin.” That kinda draws a line in the sand about our Christian lives, and our lives in general. I love serving on the front lines of Journey’s office life. I get to daily indulge my love of details and organization by managing administrative details for our lead pastor, campus pastors, and others. I may introduce myself to you as the church secretary, but what I mean is I manage the church calendar, schedule meetings, make sure the office is well-supplied and running smoothly. I also get to greet everyone who walks through the front door.
My husband and I were born, raised, and homeschooled right here in the Lowcountry. I love blogging, writing, and running my freelance editing business. My favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 30:18 because it never ceases to amaze me that the Lord of the universe would leave His throne to come rescue me. Become an author
- Drive a stick-shift

Dee and I began attending Journey in September of 2015 and became partners this past January. I’ve worked in youth ministry for 7 years, on a bi-vocational basis, and for the past 3 and a half years I’ve done appliance repair. Some of my hobbies include anything that involves working with my hands, comics, video games, and disc golf. The Bible verse that has impacted me the most is Galatians 2:20, because it serves as a reminder that when I gave my life to Christ, I no longer represent Justin Donnahoo, but I now represent the one who lives with in me: Jesus Christ.

Rachel Infinger, Events Ministry Assistant
I came to Journey way back in the days of Pleasant Grove in 2008, and a few years later my husband, Steven, and I met while working at the same school. I taught special education, and Steven helped teachers incorporate technology into their teaching. On Meet the Teacher night, I was a nervous, excited, first-year teacher…so I baked cookies for my students, got dressed up, and none of them showed up. But Steven popped in to make sure all my technology was up and running, and he ended up chatting with me as he ate the cookies I had baked. I remember driving home that night telling my mom about it, and she said, “I think he’ll be a good friend to you.” We were both baptized in 2011. We have two kids: Noah Jerome (3) and Evangeline Frances (1). My hobbies include exercising, running, reading, watching Chicago Cubs baseball, baking, and camping. I don’t get much free time these days, though, so my current hobbies are sweeping, loading the dishwasher, and playing firefighter. I also find myself frequently wiping tiny fingerprints off of a variety of surfaces. My go-to Bible verse these days is Philippians 4:13. I’m constantly telling myself and others “I can do all things! Christ strengthens me!” It’s pretty motivating when you feel like your body is done but you can’t give up yet.
3 things on Rachel’s bucket list:
- Dance under the Northern Lights
- Do a pull-up
- Adopt a child

Jeremiah 29:10b-11 is my favorite Bible passage.I have clung to these verses through many seasons of my life, including loss and waiting.
