The Journey Church longs to be more than the mouthpiece that speaks the love of God through words alone. Rather, the Journey Church seeks to identify ways to transform our community by showing the love of Jesus in tangible ways. It is our hope to open the hearts of the people of Summerville to the life transforming message of Jesus Christ by displaying God’s love through serving our community. Jesus tells us in John 13:34-35 that His name would be made known through our love and serve others. Simply stated, the Journey Church exists to change our city through the loving service of God’s people.

SANGAREE INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL

The Journey Church is excited to take the opportunity to serve and love on the staff, faculty, students, and familys of Sangaree Intermediate.  As a church we hope to aid Sangaree Intermediate in their mission through open handed service and regular encouragement.

THE LOWCOUNTRY ORPHAN RELIEF  

 We are excited about the partnership we have built with the Lowcountry Orphan Relief group, joining in their efforts to love and care for children who have been abused and/or abandoned. In the past, we have had clothes drives, helped clean and organize their collection facility, volunteered at their Make a Child Happy Day event, and helped to build their float for the Christmas Parade. We're looking for other ways to partner with them in the future, as their cause is a good one.
