The Journey Church longs to be more than the mouthpiece that speaks the love of God through words alone. Rather, the Journey Church seeks to identify ways to transform our community by showing the love of Jesus in tangible ways. It is our hope to open the hearts of the people of Summerville to the life transforming message of Jesus Christ by displaying God’s love through serving our community. Jesus tells us in John 13:34-35 that His name would be made known through our love and serve others. Simply stated, the Journey Church exists to change our city through the loving service of God’s people.
SANGAREE INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL
The Journey Church is excited to take the opportunity to serve and love on the staff, faculty, students, and familys of Sangaree Intermediate. As a church we hope to aid Sangaree Intermediate in their mission through open handed service and regular encouragement.
HOPE FOR BRODY
On Wednesday, June 9 (5-8pm) - Journey Church joins forces with the Summerville Chic-Fil-A for 'Spirit Night - Hope for Brody'. An evening to rally support for a local couple whose 2 year old, Brody, suffers from Spastic Cerebral Palsy and is about to undergo an invasive procedure later this month. 10% of that evening's proceeds will go toward the Hope for Brody fund.
